MATHCOUNTS State Competition – Volunteers Requested
As you know, the Harrisburg Chapter of PSPE coordinates the Chapter MATHCOUNTS Competition. On January 26th, over 100 students attended the competition at Penn State Harrisburg and represented their individual schools and themselves through three rigorous rounds of testing lasting around 3 hours.
The winning team this year was Hershey Middle School and they will be representing (along with the top four individuals composed of students from Hershey, Greencastle-Antrim, and Eagle View Middle Schools) the Harrisburg Chapter at the State Competition held at the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey at 4650 Lindle Road in Harrisburg, PA on March 15th and 16th.
The PSPE asks the Chapters to volunteer for the event as well as represent the Chapter. I am asking you to consider registering for the State Competition as we always need volunteers. I have volunteered these past few years, at States, and will continue to do so this year and beyond. Use the following link to be directed to the registration page for the Competition…
